From the beginning, we were a leader in integrating smart card technology as an improved means of public communications payment. We embraced and enhanced this technology, widely deploying it in our products.

In the 1990's, rapid market development and diversification of the means of payment combined with the advent of wireless networks led to significant product investments.

We enhanced our portfolio with the addition of credit card and coin terminals connected to both wireline and wireless networks, and we extended the functionality of our management systems and tools.

The introduction of new products and capabilities has accelerated into the 21st Century. As we enter our third decade, SPT Publicom is continuing its heritage of innovation by developing advanced solutions that enable our customers to deliver improved and enhanced services while lowering their capital and operating costs.

In early 2005, SPT Publicom acquired the payphone systems division of Schlumberger Limited and the operations of Connectivit-e, Inc, a developer of public data terminals.

As a result, our company now offers a full complement of public access communications systems and services.
